My Retro Kitchen

I worked for many years in the UK in interior design and I still love everything to do with style and the home.
I love the whole retro look , but for my home it wouldn't really fit ,but I do have a modern retro kitchen.

This combines a modern neutral decor with some retro kitchen appliances and accessories. It's a great look and makes for a bright 'pop' of color and style in what would be an otherwise bland kitchen.
This is the KitchenAid mixer that set me off down the retro kitchen path!

What to Wear to Yoga

 I wrote on Squidoo recently about what to wear to yoga. Looking for  yoga related gifts recently, I was so impressed with all the lovely yoga gear out there, I decided to write an article on what you should wear to yoga class. You can read it here.

I've been going to class for so long that I'd forgotten it could even be an issue but looking at yoga clothes, I might buy as a gift , reminded me of when I started out and I had no idea what to wear for my first class!

Gifts for Yoga Lovers

I love to take a Yoga class when I have time and when I don't I practice with my favorite Yoga DVD. My yoga buddy, Jen's birthday was looming, so I looked into buying her a yoga related gift.

As usual I got carried away with what's on offer out there, so I shared my findings here. In the end I settled on  a new yoga mat for her from Aurorae, as she keeps complaining hers is too thin.It was a definite hit and must admit I've got mat envy now, my faithful old mat is looking a bit shabby!

Aerogarden Classic

I've just written on Squidoo about my fantastic Aerogarden indoor garden, which I had bought for me as a gift.

Does the Aerogarden work? I was very sceptical at first if I could make things grow, like it said I would on the instructions, I'm not known for my gardening ability! but low and behold, yes it worked brilliantly!

It was so successful, I ended up ordering another Aerogarden to grow even more veggies!

My name is Ellie and I live on the beautiful mediterranean island of Ibiza.

Living on a tiny island is cool and I love it but shopping for the latest product is not something I do on a regular basis as I have to wait until I make a trip to the mainland or order online.
